2009 Carnival
for Children

Dances, theater and carnival costumes.
The Mahatma Gandhi Foundation announces its 2009 Carnival Party on Friday,
February 20th, from 4 to 6 pm, at the Anacaona Library, hospital road, behind
Candido's alley.  

The party includes dances, a competition of costumes for children, a children's
theater production and other events.

Those interested must register at the library from monday thru friday, 10-12 am
and 2:30-5:30 pm.  The event is organized by Dominican artist Ana
Pérez-Bachelier.  Anyone interested in helping out in the event or
contributing with funds for the theatrical production please contact her at
809-543-2912.  The event is free and open to the public.
